Want to keep up to date with what’s happening at Agent Marketing, who we are working with, and generally what is keeping us amused at Agent HQ? You do? Great, well let us introduce you to the Agent blog. It’s Agent Marketing in electronic form; new, innovative and as good as we have always been…

The Year 2100

In 1900, a civil engineer named Jon Elfreth Watkins made a whole host of predictions as to what the world would be like in the year 2000. A man who likes to plan ahead, here are said predictions that actually occurred:
  • Digital colour photography
  • The rising height of Americans
  • Mobile phones
  • Pre-packed meals
  • Slowing population growth
  • Hothouse vegetables
  • Military Tanks
  • Bigger fruit
  • The Acela Express
With this in mind I have decided to make my own predictions as to what the world may look like in the year 2100. If anyone is still around at this time, please show my children (grandchildren) this blog to prove that in fact their dad (granddad) was a genius – nice one.
  • I’ll start with the old favourite that hover boards will be developed
  • British Transport may have slightly improved
  • Life will be a giant X-Factor style audition, you can be voted off at anytime (whether it is off a bus, out of work or a bar). You will be harshly criticised by people who have no relevance to your life. Finally, when you are at an emotional time in your life, a montage of your best bits will automatically be screened
  • Evertonians will be an endangered species
  • Ben and Adam may be some way to completing Skyrim
  • Dave may have eventually made it to work
  • All pavements will be flat to cater for people who wear high heels – Kathleen’s prediction
  • Contrary to Busted’s Year 3000 we will already be living underwater at this point
Send me your predictions tom@agentmarketing.co.uk
