Want to keep up to date with what’s happening at Agent Marketing, who we are working with, and generally what is keeping us amused at Agent HQ? You do? Great, well let us introduce you to the Agent blog. It’s Agent Marketing in electronic form; new, innovative and as good as we have always been…

Relocation, Relocation

It's official, I am now settled.

Not settled because I have moved house or to our 5th office (yes, this is our 4th HQ to date - we like to grow and evolve, you see) but because I have moved desks. Yes, desk moves must be sensitively managed too.

Wayne, Jayne and I have now moved to the other end of the office, and no, it's not to create a 'them' and 'us' culture - certainly not! Nor is because we fancied bagging the best desks in the office. The move was due to the arrival of new team members Ben and Darren, and our lovely new work experience chap, Vish.

Thinking that it was just a matter of hiring the electrician, procuring some new desks and additional chairs, how wrong was I? VERY. Even though everyone gave their suggestions for the office movearound, it still came as quite a shock whenI had to leave my lovely desk behind in the hope of finding a seat I would love as much.

Needless to say, I then had to move my many, many belongings - you know the things I mean; my photoframes, 24 Action Doll, my various files, my mooing cow cup and my desk tidy, all onto a much smaller desk. I wasn't happy, in fact, I would go as far to say that I was slightly vexed with my reduced desk space. After basically putting everything into storage, and rearranging my desk area, things started to brighten up and the space didn't look or feel as miniture anymore. In the words of Goldilocks it feels ''just right''.

And so, a week later and my folders are all up to date, my pens are all arranged, and I am now enjoying my new desk view. Who needs Kirsty and Phil eh? Not me.

Here's my new home...

In case you are wondering, the lady on my desk is Heather Small (of M People Fame). Like in the show Miranda, I like to look at her each day and ask "What have you done today, to make you feeeeel proud?"*

*Just for fun, mind.
