Want to keep up to date with what’s happening at Agent Marketing, who we are working with, and generally what is keeping us amused at Agent HQ? You do? Great, well let us introduce you to the Agent blog. It’s Agent Marketing in electronic form; new, innovative and as good as we have always been…

Decent songs, rubbish lyrics…

Now that I drive into work a lot more, I’ve been utilising my “in car SXI power driven MP3 adapter unit thing” (that’s the technical term). With this in situ, I’m listening to more music and couldn’t help but notice a few things. Decent songs (debatable) and rubbish lyrics (fact). Here’s my list thus far and if you know anymore, pop them over:

  • Simon & Garfunkel – At the Zoo (are the chaps being really clever by using metaphorical referencing, or are they talking about an actual Zoo).

  • R.E.M. – Shiny Happy People (I don’t care what other meanings this song has, pathetic).

  • The Police – Invisible Sun (this one has certainly sparked debate).

  • Roy Brown – Butcher Pete (this has got to be the biggest innuendo EVER. You’d blush singing this. Dirty Pete!).

My last one has to be thrown in just to put this lot to shame. I love this song, but mainly the lyrics which are fantastic. I wouldn’t advise listening to this if you need cheering up mind.
