Apple side
Scouring the web for information about whether to opt for the omnipotent i-phone or the incredible 32 gig Nokia N97 has left me confused. It has also given me an insight into how Apple has turned previously benign mobile users into i-Phone evangelists.
Here in the office when I have mentioned upgrading to the Apple, the resulting jeers from the i-Phonerati thinking I have finally cracked and gone over to the Apple-Side are a bit scary. These people don’t frighten me, I just remember when they were normal, pre-Apple if you will.
The forums are the same – If someone asks the question which phone is best? The answer is met with a complete slagging of the rival product from the
Apple Fanboys (excuse the Americanism) especially the N97. No-one it seems, can question Apple omnipotence.
Here in the office I am about to slip into a

That’s a lot of business for 02 as sole carrier for the Apple device in the UK - it’s also a huge mistake in terms of not carrying the N97 through its UK stores.
N97 or I Phone? It’s a bit like asking VHS or betamax 20 years ago. I choose N97, I always liked to be different and remember kids I am only doing this so you have a choice of operating system and a slightly
gauche user interface in the future.
